GRHS Picture Day
Picture day for underclassmen will be held on Thursday, September 28th. All students will be photographed for the school yearbook. Parents may order a photo package online or by bringing the order form to school on picture day. Click here for the order form and instructions for online orders.
We will be holding our annual Blood Drive on Wednesday, September 27 from 8 AM until 2 PM in the High School All Purpose Room. We would love your help in making this drive our most successful drive yet. September is usually a Blood drought and this year the shortage is even greater due to the needs in Texas. We would imagine that the upcoming storms will only increase the need.Click here for the adult sign-up and click here for the student sign up (16 years or older). We will move any adult to the front of the line so that we can minimize their wait time. This year’s drive is being coordinated by Senior, Gabi Feige and junior Emma Mangino, in collaboration with our Science National Honors Society, advised by Heather McDermott. One to One Laptop Program
We are excited to launch our One to One Laptop program for this school year. Laptops will be distributed on Wednesday, August 23 and Wednesday August 30, each day from 8 AM – 11 AM and 1 PM to 3 PM. Students must be present and report to the All Purpose Room to pick up their laptops. Before picking up their laptop, they must sign off on our Acceptable Use Policy and expectations, as well as pay the $60 yearly fee, which covers insurance and other related expenses.

As stated, print out a receipt of payment when picking up your laptop. We will ask students to log in to their computers on site, which will enable use and access to the software which has been loaded on each machine.
If somehow any student cannot make either of these dates and times, Laptops will also be available each day after school, during the first week of school(September 5 – 8) and before school (7:30 AM - 7:50 AM) in Room A105 (down the hall from the Technology Office).
Harassment, Intimidation and Bullying
There is relatively new legislation regarding Harassment, Intimidation and Bullying (HIB). Our district has always taken student misconduct seriously, in all forms, and will continue to do so. We support the goals of the law and will fully implement its requirements. The legislation requires reporting of suspected HIB, investigation and determination of whether the behavior is HIB or not. It defines specific reporting and follow-up activities. Harassment, intimidation or bullying means any gesture, written, verbal or physical act, or technological threat whether it be a single incident or a series of incidents that takes place on school property, at any school sponsored function, going to and/or from school, or off school grounds that substantially disrupts or interferes with the orderly operation of the school or the rights of other pupils.

Athletic Collection and New Fees
The following dates and times are for athletic collections for Fall Sports:
June 22nd 12:30pm to 1:30pm
July 12th 4pm to 7pm
July 25th 4pm to 7pm
August 2nd 4pm to 7pm (last collection date for high school)
August 23rd 4pm to 7pm (middle school only)
All collections will take place in the nurse’s office.
There has been a change in athletic fees for the 2017-2018 school year. The fees are as follows:
